Students will probe information about the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, and the spreading of the Gospel from Jerusalem, Judah, Samaria, and the throughout the known world. The prominence of Peter and Paul will be highlighted.

Focus on the practical, simple ways of discovering the needs and interests of young adults. Emphasis will be placed on the developmental process of this age group, and the problems peculiar to them. Focus on methods that will assist the church to involve young adults more actively in the mission and work of the church.

Teach on the fundamental purpose, principles, and power of prayer. Understand prayer as the channel of communication of the believer to God the Father.

Help students to be able to recognize group dynamic, and then to employ appropriate leadership skills for the best possible results.

Outline strategies to increase the membership of the local church. Students will study ways to develop outreach programs and age-group ministries that will assist the church, and its members.

Focus on the growing youth culture, causes, and effects, and strategies that the church can employ to counter the problem of youth violence.

Instructor- Dr. Daryl Gates
Focus on the Certificate of progress program writing requirements for PHASE 3. Emphasis will be placed on the writing documentation research and the development of other skills necessary to complete the writing assignments in the phase. Help introduce the students to the library and the use of reference materials.

Identify the process and principles for writing speeches and delivering them in public. Relay basic verbal and nonverbal communications skills that will enable the students to effectively communicate with audiences of all sizes.

Christian Educations and Technology will build on the student's knowledge and use of the latest technology used for teaching. the course will introduce the student to the most current and practical technology platforms, such as Zoom, Google, Facebook, Thinkific, and other media. In addition students will be guided in completing their writing projects.

Instructor- Rev. Lovely Callaway
This course will examine the causes of conflict and how to minimize the tension that results from disputes. Students will focus on putting systems in place, understanding personalities, cultural traditions, and developing a Christian ethical process for navigating and managing issues that lead to conflict.
