    Cover the various parables that Jesus used in His teaching ministry. Focus on the heavenly meaning of these earthly stories. The focus will be on the background and message of each parable.

    Examine with simplicity and clarity the basic teachings of the Baptist faith. Explore each doctrinal position and the basis for each doctrinal position taught in the class.

    Focus on the minister's wife and her responsibilities as a Christian, a mother, a wife, a leader, and a community servant.

    Help students to understand who God has uniquely made them to be. Work through a spiritual gift as-assessment that will help them to discover their spiritual gift(s) will prepare them to move into a meaningful area of service where they best fit into the body of Christ.

    Teach the ministry of ushering in the church. Learn the basic signs, positions, and post locations commonly used in ushering within the church. Study the services provided by the nursing ministry of the church. Needs of this ministry, with special emphasis placed on the tasks appropriate for the local church ministry will be addressed.

    Challenge the students to identify and confront contemporary issues. Look at issues that affect the church, home, and community. Think through practical solutions and approaches to immediate and emerging social and esslesiological concerns.

    This course will provide an introductory training on how to use the latest technology in Christian ministry. Students will be introduced to presentation apps (PowerPoint, and Keynote), database apps (Excel, Numbers, Access) social media apps (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and other learning management systems (Thinkific, Google Classroom, etc.)
